Wear the old coat and buy the new book
Seriously, buy this new book.
Even without being a fan of Neil Gaiman, I would have adored this tale. It's deliciously spooky. There's enough suspense for an adult reader of horror, but written in a way that you can read it with your kid. Well, I can't, no kid. Somehow I don't think Murphy will be too spooked by The Man Jack, or the ghoulgate. Nuh uh.
But if I had a kid, we would be reading this aloud for Halloween.
So The Graveyard Book officially makes 4 books finished, and I suppose I have completed Peril the First. Never fear though, there is a bonus lightning round (for me anyways.) A personal challenge to read 3 more of my selections. A late entry that I couldn't pass up, since it is a classic after all... Dracula. Yes, I'm reading Bram Stoker's Dracula. It's a weird novel. I'll let ya know.
And because there haven't been enough critters around here besides the poppets, I leave you with Murphy.
This has been a RIP Challenge.

4 bottles washed up on the shore:
Murphy and those leaves blend together perfectly! Suck a looker.
I love Murphy, he's so beautiful! I put aside this book for The Gargoyle, but I'll pick it right back up when I'm done.
MURPHY!
This definitely is a great book to introduce people to Neil Gaiman with, no doubt about it.
And Dracula...woo-wee do I love me that book!!! :)
